HI, I’M KATY CANION, OWNER OF DRAGON KLAWS!

I’m a gel specialist who has been practicing nails since 2013, and I have been licensed since 2014. I am GelX certified through Après, completed a master Japanese gel course with Paola Ponce, and have taken many trainings on hard and soft gels. I launched my first, successful independent business during the 2020 pandemic which began in my home and graduated to solo suites. I thought of Dragon Klaws when I was afraid to step out and launch my small business. My late father was born in the year of the dragon and by incorporating the dragon, I felt a sense of security and faith that he would always look after me and my business.  I decided to retire my full-time position with a local nonprofit in 2023 to dedicate my full attention to my business. I love to meet new people and hope to get a chance to service you! BY BOOKING AN APPOINTMENT, YOU AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING:

If you are unable to make your appointment, please cancel 24 hours prior to your appointment to avoid a $20 cancellation fee. The cancellation fee must be paid in order to rebook.

Cancellations must be made via phone call, text, or DM. If a notice is given improperly, it will result in a $20 cancellation fee.

No call no shows will not be allowed to book again until a $25 fee is paid for inconvenience.

In respect of everyone’s time, if you are more than 10 minutes late for your appointment, a $10 late fee will be added to your total, and 15 minutes can result to a cancellation with a $20 cancellation fee.

A soak-off fee will be applied if enhancements from a previous, foreign artist must be soaked off before your service is started.  ($15) 

Please note that an appointment is a reserved time and placeholder for your service but does not always guarantee a service as emergencies and unforeseen circumstances may occur. In these instances, a sub appointment will be offered at earliest convenience. 

If a service is not pre-booked and time does not allot for what you are requesting, we are not required to add any additional services to your existing appointment. Please book every service you need including nail designs, toe polishes, pedicures, and any add-ons. If you are the last client of the day, and you are requesting additional services on your pre-existing appointment, an after hours fee of $20 will be charged.  

Your very first appointment will also serve as a consultation. As nail professionals, we must examine the health of your nails and provide a service that is in the best interest of your nail integrity—meaning that we have the right to refuse service if necessary.  

We have a 1 week policy for any fixes and broken nails. After 1 week from your appointment, a broken nail fee will be charged for any fixes.   

Sensitive gel is available for those with a HEMA allergy.  We are not responsible for any medical emergencies and/or bills. If your finger tips are in pain, red, swollen, itching, blistered, and/or peeling, remove the nail enhancement immediately and seek medical attention.
